Join Mi Casa Resource Center on Friday, April 20th to hear the inspiring story of how Richard Montañez went from janitor to executive.
Richard grew up working on the farms in California and struggled to learn English in school during the days of segregation. As a young man, while working as a janitor at Frito Lay, Richard grabbed his chance to pitch his idea for what later became “Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.” Today, Richard leads Multicultural Sales & Community Promotions across PepsiCo’s North American divisions and is known as the “Godfather of Hispanic Marketing.” Richard’s inspiring story is now being turned into a movie.
