After working as a dishwasher for several years, Ever decided to open his own restaurant and fulfill his dream of being his own boss and achieving financial independence.
With help from Mi Casa’s consultants, Ever successfully negotiated a $200,000 loan in order to move his restaurant, Las Fuentes, to a better location near the Auraria campus in downtown. Despite the restaurant’s ideal location, Ever needed to generate greater revenue but was coming up short. He decided to enroll in Éxito para Negocios, Mi Casa’s Spanish language entrepreneurial training course.
After completing the 13-week course, Ever understands how to develop effective strategies to attract and retain customers. He expects his new business plan to double his sales figures. “I found many answers to my questions from other business owners, teachers and speakers at Mi Casa,” he shares. Ever hopes to have the opportunity to help and inspire other entrepreneurs, who like him are working to build their American Dream.
