Andrew has had Andrewmany careers in various fields including banking, health care and restaurant services. Whether managing 10 staffers at a restaurant or 26 employees at a health care facility, Andrew’s strength has always been working with employees for maximum performance and providing outstanding customer service to clients.

These skills have proven quite helpful as co-owner of Denver’s Fleur Salon which serves men and women professionals seeking the perfect hairstyle to accommodate their busy lives. Andrew and his partner Tommy opened Fleur Salon in 2014 and have seen its personnel, positive reviews and profits continuously grow.

Andrew’s 20 years of professional experience and many other skills made him an ideal candidate for Mi Casa’s Women’s Business Center programs including Business Success and Business Breakthrough. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Denver with a B.A. in German and Spanish, Andrew is fluent in several languages and has mastered the elusive secret to repeat sales & service–superior customer service year-round.

But like so many budding entrepreneurs he needed a plan to guide him through startup costs, strategic marketing, payroll and other small business essentials. His path to independent career success came in 2013 when he took Mi Casa’s Business Success class, completed a comprehensive strategic business plan and received one-on-one business consulting to learn about licensing, permits and applying for funds for a successful launch.

After nearly two years of hard work and a core of loyal clients, he wanted to boost his business strategy so he enrolled in  Mi Casa’s 2015 Business Breakthrough program, a 10-week course for entrepreneurs with business experience who seek new challenges and want to grow their businesses even further.

As Salon Owner and HR Manager/Client Service Director for Fleur Salon he was seeking and has achieved the next stage of growth, competitive advantage, cash flow, and financial and business resources to ensure stability for his small business. Thanks to Mi Casa and his own dedication and skill set and training, Fleur Salon has five full-time employees and is thriving due to his team’s professionalism, customer service, word of mouth, and strong customer reviews.
